Requirements:
- Prepare sushi items including rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty items according to recipes and standards.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of fish and other ingredients.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station at all times.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

Assist with prep work such as cutting fish, vegetables, and rice preparation.

Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers (if applicable).

Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and knife skills.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.

Proficiency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus.

Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Reliable transportation is a must
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly

Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and kneeling

Comfortable working in hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environments

Manual dexterity for handling knives, tools, and kitchen equipment safely

Ability to work around steam, open flames, and cleaning agents

Clear vision and hearing to ensure safety and communication in a busy kitchen

Ability to climb a step stool or ladder when needed

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as scheduled
