JOB DUTY:
The Power Industrial Truck & Safety trainer will be responsible for maintaining compliance with OSHA 1910.178. This position will be an hourly and Full-Time position. The trainer will be expected to complete the following duties and responsibilities as well as be able to support operations if needed on occasion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Test new hire applicants on safe driving skills and interlocking modules
· Interviewing new candidates for experience and job skills during day 1 of training
· Train new hire team members following HERO Logistics Safety Orientation /Training Plan
· Follow HERO Dojo Requirements for Week 1 & Week 2 Training Program Requirements.
· Maintain Training records
· Train New Team members on production manufacturing processes using SOP and HERO Training Packet
· Lead by example
· Support safety program (audits, observations, etc.)
· Develop new training materials when needed.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous experience as a Power Industrial Truck trainer or Safety Trainer.
· High school diploma
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Must possess good organizational skills.
· Must have good attendance, performance, and safety record.
· Must be able to use computers, scanners, and related equipment.
· Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
· Must be able to multi-task and be professional.
· Must be able to schedule and conduct training both classroom and hands on.
· Must be able to work 40+ hours each week. Possible overtime for Re-training.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must follow all TOYOTA manufacturing rules and regulations.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
