Job Summary
The Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) / Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral assessment, consultation, and clinical support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and monitoring behavior support plans, providing caregiver and staff training, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring services are delivered in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Starting Pay: $85,000-$95,000 (negotiable based on experience)

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
- Active North Carolina Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) license.
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and clinical consultation skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience providing behavioral services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
- Knowledge of NC Innovations Waiver, 1915(i), and other Medicaid-funded services.
- Experience training and supporting direct support professionals, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with positive behavior support practices and person-centered planning.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience providing clinical consultation in home, community, or residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), to identify behavioral needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and other clinical recommendations.
- Provide behavioral consultation and support to individuals, families, caregivers, and agency staff.
- Train and coach direct support professionals and caregivers on behavior support strategies and interventions.
- Monitor client progress and make recommendations for modifications to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and reports.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and other clinical consultations.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with Medicaid, NC Innovations, professional, and ethical standards.
- Provide clinical guidance and support regarding behavioral concerns, crisis prevention, and risk management strategies.
- Stay current with applicable regulations, best practices, and continuing education requirements.
Work Environment
- Services may be provided in community, home, or program settings
- Regular collaboration with clinical leadership, Qualified Professionals (QPs), and direct care staff
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
