Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs and preferences
- Provide detailed product demos, explaining effects, dosages, and usage instructions to enhance customer understanding
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product visibility
- Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products and promoting new or featured items to increase sales
- Manage inventory levels through stock checks and merchandising adjustments to ensure product availability
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, maintaining professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar customer-focused environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and engage customers confidently
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
