Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development.
- Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with patience and enthusiasm.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to create a respectful learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns with clarity and professionalism.
- Maintain detailed lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Foster a safe space by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure children's well-being at all times.
- Support children’s social skills development through play-based activities, structured lessons, and physical education exercises.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Strong background in curriculum development, childhood development instruction, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of standardized testing methods used for assessing early learning progress is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Valid certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional credentials in childhood welfare or behavior management are advantageous.
- Prior experience teaching physical education or literacy education enhances your ability to support comprehensive child development programs.
