What You’ll Be Doing
- Applying fertilizers, weed control products, and other lawn treatments safely and accurately
- Diagnosing lawn problems and recommending effective treatment solutions
- Identifying weeds, insects, diseases, and other turf concerns
- Operating ride-on spreaders, sprayers, and hand tools
- Managing and servicing an assigned customer route
- Helping customers understand what their lawns need to look their best
- Answering questions and providing friendly, professional service
- Recommending additional services that would genuinely benefit customers
- Using mobile software to document treatments, record notes, and communicate with customers
- Maintaining accurate application and service records
- Operating company vehicles and application equipment safely
- Performing daily inspections and routine equipment maintenance
- Keeping vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Working closely with teammates to deliver excellent results and customer satisfaction
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Hold or have held a current Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License? Great we will pay you for your experience!
- Have previous lawn care, turf management, landscaping, or horticulture experience
- Understand turfgrass, weeds, insects, diseases, and lawn care practices
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Are at least 19 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Are legally authorized to work in the United States
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical
- Enjoy working with customers and providing excellent service
- Are dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team
- Are willing to work overtime during peak seasons
Do you like the Outdoor Life?
This is an active, hands-on position. You must be able to:
- Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Work outdoors in varying Massachusetts weather conditions
- Walk, bend, kneel, and navigate uneven terrain
- Safely operate lawn application equipment
- Follow all safety procedures, product-label requirements, and PPE guidelines
