Minimum 2year experience

Required to be exposed to physical environment which
involves dirt, odors, noise, and at time work outside in variable weather conditions

Able to work OT, some weekends, occasionally a night
and/or holidays

Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment

Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools, as needed
-
Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects
-
Tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
-
Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts
-
Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or
assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications
-
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary units and related parts
-
Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems
-
Clean and maintain the work area and equipment
-
Must provide own tools (Company to provide welders, torch, grinder, and some other tools)

Fill out shop and repair records/logs
-
Use various hand and power driven shop tools
-
Prepare and maintain clear and accurate daily reports
-
Understand and follow oral and written instructions
-
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Perform a variety of duties in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles, equipment and components
-
Comply with all company, customer, and industry policies and procedures including safety polices
-
Inspect trucks, tractors and equipment to locate mechanical
defects, to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems and to determine corrective procedures

Filling out daily timesheets
-
Other duties may be assigned
