About the Role
In this capacity, you will oversee the evaluation and implementation of aerospace component repair strategies that adhere to rigorous regulatory and client standards. Your efforts will directly enhance aviation safety, operational efficiency, and product reliability while offering you broad exposure to various engineering lifecycles.

Engineering & Technical Leadership-
Create and maintain component repair programs that satisfy FAA FAR regulations.

Resolve intricate production and repair issues by identifying root causes and assessing technical feasibility.

Improve structural integrity and design outcomes by conducting thorough Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Ensure all repair methodologies and designs align with customer specifications and regulatory mandates.
Project Execution-
Manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects from initial concept to successful delivery.

Oversee project budgets, schedules, milestones, and scope to guarantee timely completion.

Facilitate communication and technical coordination between operations, quality, engineering, and customer-facing departments.

Develop comprehensive technical reports, project updates, and necessary documentation.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement-
Foster productive relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

Boost repair performance and quality by supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Provide specialized engineering guidance to support various FAA certification and repair efforts.
Required Qualifications-
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or higher degree.

At least 3 years of professional engineering experience within aviation, defense, aerospace, or similar regulated fields.

Solid grasp of mechanical systems, core engineering principles, and analytical problem-solving.

Proven track record of managing engineering deliverables, priorities, and project schedules.

Proficiency in utilizing FEA and other essential engineering analysis software.

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to ensure all deadlines are met.

Ability to maintain full compliance with ITAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications-
Experience with FAA certification processes.

Familiarity with FAA FAR-145 Repair Station protocols.

Background in the development of DER repairs.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $80.00 per hour
