About the Opportunity
As an Equipment Mechanic at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily operations at our St. Paul, MN site. In this role, you’ll work to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial machinery and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as metal processors, electrical machinery, material handlers, loaders, and forklifts.
- Perform inspections, diagnostics and routine maintenance
- Dismantle, reassemble and install parts or new equipment with hand and power tools
- Use a welder for repairs or fabricating items
Qualifications
- One year of maintenance experience
- Background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical areas
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in repair of industrial equipment, heavy equipment and trucks
Compensation and Benefits
- Monday – Saturday, first shift
- Pay $28/hr, full-time, year-round
