Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
**MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE, NO EXCEPTIONS**
PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $27.00 (depending on experience)
What You'll Do:
- Bend and Install EMT conduit (¾" to 1")
- Pull wire, terminate panels, install light fixtures, and set up electrical equipment
- Perform conduit bends: 90s, offsets, saddles, kicks, concentric bends
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, including high voltage problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations as well as industry standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work.
- Knowledge of high voltage systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Experience with EMT conduit installation and advanced bending techniques
