As an OCCUPTATIONAL THERAPIST you will:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Support children in developing the skills needed for everyday activities and greater independence
- Implement treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs
- Improve safety and participation in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
- Teach clients and families strategies to simplify daily tasks and promote success
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate
- Educate and support parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process
- Accurately document treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in follow-up care to ensure continuity and optimal patient progress
Qualifications Required:
- Active Florida OTR or COTA license
- Availability during after-school hours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience
Pay: $33.00 - $60.00 per hour
