Position Summary:
We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations at Rocky Mountain Prep - Creekside. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient service. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience in food service management and a passion for delivering exceptional meals. The Kitchen Manager will oversee food preparation, inventory management, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen operations.
- Oversee daily food preparation, quality control, and presentation of all meals.
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and control food costs.
- Prepare schedules and delegate tasks to maintain a productive and positive team environment.
- Collaborate with SLA Management’s culinary team to uphold quality and consistency in menu items.
- Address any issues with kitchen operations promptly and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to fostering a positive work culture.
- Proficiency in inventory management and food cost control.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
