Hi! We are Touchpoint Disinfecting, a San Diego janitorial company, and we are looking for someone to grow with us! We currently have the need for a Part-Time Morning Janitorial Technician to clean a couple bars & a mixed use space in downtown San Diego.
Do you want to have your daytimes free? Do you like working alone, but don't mind working with someone else occasionally? How about flexible scheduling and being able to listen to music or podcasts at work? Do you really like to clean? If all this applies to you, then this might be the job for you!
*Current Approx. Schedule: Friday - Tuesday: 4:30am-11:00am (25-32hrs/week, days off Wed & Thurs)
*Start times are flexible. Some days could start as early as 4am or as late as 6am if requested. Most shifts are 4 to 7 hours in length. Some days the technician is off by 9am, other days by noon.
Growth Opportunity: This position could grow into a full time position for someone who wanted full time. There are also opportunities to pick up shifts as our on-call technician.
Duties:
Trash removal, cleaning bar & dish mats, kitchen cleaning, bathroom cleaning (toilets, urinals, sinks, floors, etc), sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, using a shopvac, vacuuming, supply tracking, general cleaning
Requirements
You must:
- Have 2 year's commercial janitorial experience (not residential)with at least two professional references.
- Must have consistent reliable transportation to and from downtown San Diego
- Must be willing to be a part of a team environment
- Have attention to detail and take pride in cleaning
- Be able to lift 30lb over your head (trash & kitchen mats requires this) and be okay getting dirty & wet at work. This is a physically demanding job.
- Speak fluent English (Debe hablar ingles)
- Have consistent weekend availability
- Be dependable & professional in appearance and hygiene
- Pass a prescreening background check
Pay: $19.50-21.50/hour (DPE)
