Mop N Rag Cleaning Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented female cleaning technician to maintain a privately owned sorority house in Ames. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a clean, welcoming living environment.
Monday & Wednesday Duties: Empty bathroom trash receptacles Clean and sanitize toilets Wipe down showers Clean vanities, sinks, and mirrors Ensure bathrooms are tidy and well-stocked as needed
Friday Duties: All Monday/Wednesday cleaning tasks Vacuum hallways Vacuum carpeted common and living areas Complete additional weekly cleaning tasks as assigned
Qualifications Reliable transportation Able to work independently and arrive on time Strong attention to detail Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Cleaning experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
