Dietary Aide

Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team in Morganton, NC. This role is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, serving residents, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a heart for serving others.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food production in a nursing home or healthcare kitchen
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and meal schedules accurately
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Respond professionally and respectfully to resident dietary needs and concerns
- Support kitchen staff with daily tasks to ensure smooth meal service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, dietary, or kitchen work is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and service-oriented
