What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications per site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.

Monitor access points during assigned hours, verify visitor authorization, assist with directions, and help maintain orderly entry and exit during arrival, dismissal, and events.

Complete security-related reports such as incident documentation, patrol logs, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.

Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
