Laurel Awning Company is a well-established manufacturing company specializing in high-quality awnings and custom made shade solutions. We are seeking a detail oriented Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and support our production, sales and leadership teams.
The Office Manger plays a critical role in keeping Laurel Awning Company's operations organized and efficient. The position manages all office functions while coordinating closely with manufacturing, sales, and field teams. The ideal candidate is organized, pro-active and comfotable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Respinsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operation and administrative workflows
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal staff
- Manage office supplies, purchasing, vendors and facilities coordination
- Support Production and sales teams with scheduling, paperwork, and communication.
- Assist with HR functions including onboarding, time tracking, and payroll coordination
- Maintain accurate records including invoices, purchase orders, and job files
- Support Billing, accounts receivable/payables and basic bookkeeping taskes
- Coordinate calendars, meetings and internal communication.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and basic labor and safety documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Customer service experience in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Proficiency in accounting software (i.e. Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, etc) and Microsoft 365, especially Word and Excel
- Experience supporting production schedules and/or field crews
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Impeccable customer service skills
- Strong analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player in fast paced environment
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
