What You'll Be Doing as the Senior Accountant:
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies.
- Manage company funds, including cash balances, loans, disbursements, and investments.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly close procedures.
- Conduct bank and escrow reconciliations.
- Oversee fixed and intangible assets.
- Handle additional projects and duties as assigned.
About You as the Senior Accountant:
- 2+ years of operational accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in software applications including Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems.
