Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders in our Plantation, FL headquarters (hybrid model). To be successful in this role, you should be a confident, proactive go-getter with communication skills who thrives on making things happen and being part of a team.
What You'll Do:
Manage complex calendars and resolve conflicts effectively
Track key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items
Manage domestic and international travel as needed; complete and submit expense reports
Work closely with the leadership teams, partner teams, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization across multiple geographical regions
Produce and distribute correspondence. Research and create presentations
Assist in the development and implementation of office procedures
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the existing administrative team
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Ad-hoc duties and special projects upon request
What You'll Need:
5+ years of related experience supporting Executives in a complex and fast-moving environments
A high degree of professionalism with a customer service attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a 'no task too big or too small' mentality
Excellent communication skills, strong writing/proofreading skills including grammar, punctuation, and spelling via multiple channels phone, email, chat, and in-person
Ability to anticipate needs and proactively suggest solutions
Handle sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and confidentiality
Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies is preferred
Deep intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to work on a team
Willingness to take ownership and a practical approach to problem-solving
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
Positive with a sense of humor
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Willingness to learn new tools/systems as needed
High emotional intelligence and trustworthiness with a growth mindset and desire to continuously learn and improve
A passion for pets and the improvement of the pet industry and market
