The Atlanta Mission wants every volunteer and donor that serves and/or gives to feel valued, equipped, and fulfilled during their service. The In-Kind Donations Coordinator role is critical in identifying organizational needs that will serve the needs of our staff and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Donor Experience and Communication
Respond to incoming donor inquiries (contact forms, voice messages, and email) in a timely manner (standard: within 72 hours)
Coordinate and schedule donation drop-offs, pick-ups and community donation drive support
Provides seamless communication and handoff of donors and volunteers to other members of the receiving department as needed
Manages, supports and leads volunteer experiences related to in-kind donation processing that supports campus needs serving.
Oversees and coordinates In-Kind donation calendar for donations, daily operational needs and tracking deliverables.
Coordinates transportation scheduling with campus staff for client appointments and essential services.
Collaborates with other departments to execute serve and learn events with donors
Customer Relationship Management and Data Management
Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on CRM use and best practices.
Generate reports for management to support decision making and program evaluation.
Utilize CRM software effectively to track donor interactions, inventory levels and program data.
Responsible for creating and providing accurate reporting on incoming donations, donation distribution and inventory.
Preparing reports on donation distribution
Maintaining accurate records related to donations
Assist with data entry, reporting and general coordination tasks
Standardized Tracking and Reporting
Collaborate with IKD Partnerships Manager for inventory management.
Coordinate with campus staff to maintain accurate and up to date inventory of donations, ensuring all item are properly documented, tracked and allocated efficiently.
Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent losses and discrepancies.
Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate easy access and efficient sorting.
Manage organization, cleanliness, processes and inventory of warehouse space.
Manage and fulfill campus requisition orders.
Deliver requisition orders to campuses to fulfill client and staff needs.
Builds a support team of volunteers to assist with job responsibilities.
Serve as a volunteer host to support team during heavy volunteer seasons.
Serve as a driver for client transportation needs.
Support large volunteer events (e.g, 5K Race, Fall Fest).

Strong computer literacy in MS Office with concentration in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working in a volunteer management system, VolunteerHub or similar, preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Self-motivation and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Strong project management skills and the ability to organize, multitask and prioritize a heavy workload.
Ability to operate 12-15 passenger vans for client transportation.
