Job Summary:
The Coil Winder is responsible for operating winding machines to produce coils used in various manufacturing applications. This role involves setting up and adjusting the winding machine, monitoring the winding process, and ensuring the quality of the finished coils. The Coil Winder will work closely with the production team to meet manufacturing targets and maintain high standards of product quality.
Primary Job Duties:
Set up and operate coil winding machines according to specifications.
Monitor the winding process to ensure coils meet quality standards.
Adjust machine settings to accommodate different coil sizes and specifications.
Inspect finished coils for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Sand, bondo, paint and final assembly
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of winding machines
Attention to detail and quality control
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
May work under exposure to harmful effects such as chemicals, gases, high voltage and excessive heat.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to follow all safety procedures as set forth in the Safety Handbook and ISO 9001:2025 standards.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
