Job Summary:
Genuine Home Health Care Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to clients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal cleanup, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications according to the established care plan.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention.
- Escort clients to medical appointments, errands, and community activities as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or office staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Follow individualized care plans while ensuring client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Adhere to agency policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous caregiving, home care, personal care, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required based on client assignments.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
