Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load, transport, and deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures or documentation.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be insurable under the company's insurance policy.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move products as needed.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
