Tire Technician Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining all tires on a fleet of 15 trucks and fueling the trucks daily. The ideal candidate will have a basic familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on heavy truck tire service. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of our fleet's trucks through comprehensive tire services and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections on a the tires of a fleet of 15-20 trucks daily.
- Complete patches, replacements, and other tire repairs as needed.
- Build tires and maintain tire inventory.
- Fuel all trucks daily.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure efficient workflow.
- Uphold safety standards while performing heavy lifting and working with automotive equipment.
Skills
- Automotive repair skills with a focus on tire service and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to tire service.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 3pm-8pm & Saturday 12pm - 4pm(with flexibility as needed)
Base Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
