Nottingham Place Assisted Living, a welcoming 20-bed Memory Care community in Midland, Michigan, is seeking a dependable Full-Time Maintenance / Janitorial Teammate to help provide a clean, safe, and comfortable home for our residents.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both facility maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Janitorial
Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the community.
Complete laundry duties as assigned.
Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
Maintenance
Perform general maintenance and repair of appliances, fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
Complete basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry repairs.
Paint and refurbish resident rooms and common areas.
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the building.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment.
Coordinate outside contractors and service providers when necessary.
Help ensure the building and grounds remain safe, clean, and in good working order.
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and general repair skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform the physical demands of the position.
Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
