Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest issues across residential and commercial properties. Experience not required, but welcome. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, utilize various tools and equipment, and provide effective pest management solutions to clients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using specialized products and equipment
- Provide recommendations for ongoing pest prevention and maintenance strategies
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for treatment applications
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, treatments performed, and client interactions
- Assist with lawn care, landscaping, or agricultural tasks as required to support pest management efforts
- Drive company vehicle safely to various job sites while adhering to all safety protocols
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and answer any questions regarding services provided
Experience
- Prior experience in pest control is highly desirable; however, training will be provided for the right candidate
- Background in sales or customer service is a plus, as the role involves client interaction and education
- Experience with lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is beneficial for understanding ecosystems and treatment strategies
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and driving is preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift equipment or supplies as needed
- Valid driver’s license required; clean driving record is a must
