We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. Duties
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, and civil litigation.
- Manage case files efficiently using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and accessible.
- Perform detailed document review and proofreading to ensure compliance with procedural law requirements and internal standards.
- Support client communication by scheduling interviews, gathering case information, and providing updates in a professional manner.
- Coordinate project management tasks related to ongoing cases or legal initiatives, maintaining timelines and tracking progress.
- Handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining meticulous data entry and filing practices.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in legal support functions across multiple practice areas such as personal injury law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, landlord-tenant law, or general & commercial litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with procedural law knowledge is highly desirable.
- Experience with legal case management software such as PCLaw or document management systems like iManage.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; attention to detail is essential.
- Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry accuracy; ability to proofread documents thoroughly.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes including filing, document review, and litigation support activities.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
