Key Responsibilities
Emergency Response & Patient Care
-
Rapidly assess and respond to medical emergencies on and off the track

Perform advanced life support (ALS) interventions in accordance with medical protocols
-
Conduct thorough patient evaluations including vital signs and symptom assessment
-
Provide on-site emergency care and stabilization until transfer of care occurs
-
Maintain calm, professional communication with patients and team members
On-Track Safety & Fire Response
-
Safely operate emergency vehicles on the race track with full situational awareness
-
Support basic fire suppression efforts when appropriate until county fire units arrive
-
Follow all established race-day safety and response protocols
Coordination & Communication
-
Communicate effectively with EMS partners and emergency agencies during transfers of care
-
Collaborate with race control, safety staff, and engineering teams during incidents
-
Participate in scheduled drills and training exercises to maintain readiness
Documentation & Compliance
-
Complete accurate patient care reports (PCRs) using GEMSIS Elite
-
Document assessments, refusals, and transfers in accordance with state requirements
-
Participate in post-incident reviews to support continuous improvement
-
Perform ambulance checks to ensure equipment readiness, proper par levels, and vehicle compliance
Minimum Shift Commitment
-
Minimum of two (2) shifts per month
-
Event schedules vary based on race calendars and operational needs
-
Shifts are offered in advance to allow alignment with full-time employment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Georgia Paramedic Certification
- Firefighter certification a plus
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable 3-year MVR
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for weekends, select evenings, and open holidays
- Strong communication and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Comfort operating in a loud, fast-paced motorsports setting
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move for extended periods

Ability to bend, reach, and lift 50+ lbs

Comfortable working in a high-noise, high-energy outdoor environment
