Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that promote cognitive skills, social interaction, motor development, and emotional well-being.
- Maintain detailed lesson plans.
- Manage classroom routines effectively to foster independence, respect, and cooperation among students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood education standards, standardized testing preparation (where applicable), and innovative teaching techniques.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with classroom management expertise.
- Ability to develop engaging curricula that include literacy education, math instruction, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom behavior.
- Experience in classroom experience with toddlers or preschoolers is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations for children with additional needs is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
