Harbin Hot Springs is looking for a dependable individual to join our Spa Services Staff. The Hot Springs is a nonprofit clothing optional hot spring retreat center located in Middletown, CA. Our hot springs facilities are open to the public (24hrs per day, 7 days per week, year-round, this includes all holidays).
Currently our facilities consist of 35+ guest rooms and 10 administrative buildings along with many hot spring fed pools. The facilities will grow over time as we rebuild.
This job entails working to help check in guests and book reservations for our Spa.
WORK INVOLVES:
- Checking in guests with our software program.
- Recording Cash/Credit Card transactions.
- Orienting each guest to the modalities being offered in the Spa
- Light office work tasks (printing, leaflet paper folding, and general office support work)
- Weekend work required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Great Custom Service skill sets are appreciated. We look for friendly kind staff that have good communication skills and are reliable.
- Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented with awareness of both accurately taking customer information, both over the phone and in person.
- Some familiarity with basic computer functions and willing to learn new software for check in procedures.
- cash handling skills are a plus
- ability to multi-task both with in person customers and over the phone customers.
- Days and hours are as follows: (Full Time- 9:30am - 5:00pm five days a week Thursday through Monday) and (Part Time- 9:30am - 5:00pm two days a week + one 10:00am - 2:00pm shift Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Being able to perform daily repetitive hand and body movements as it pertains to general Reception check in procedures.
- Ability to retain the many modalities for booking reservations and clearly communicate those to guests.
- Undergo a Background Check by our vendor Verified First.
- Comfortable working in a small office environment
COMPENSATION:
- The pay for this position is ($17/hr.)
- Some Training/Orientation will be provided both for the job duties and the uniqueness of working in a clothing optional hot springs retreat setting. (clothing optional in approved areas only)
