Job Description:Searstone Retirement Community is seeking a motivated and experienced Aquatic Fitness Instructor to lead aquatic exercise classes for independent living residents. This is an independent contractor position with the opportunity to teach classes once or twice per week based on availability and resident interest.
Responsibilities:
- Lead safe, engaging, and effective aquatic fitness classes for older adults
- Modify exercises to accommodate varying fitness and mobility levels
- Create a welcoming and encouraging class environment
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes
- Maintain professionalism while interacting with residents and staff
- Follow all pool safety guidelines and community policies
Qualifications:
- Group Fitness Instructor Certification Required
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required
- Experience working with older adults or senior populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must carry personal liability insurance

- Pay ranges from $40–$65 per hour based on experience and certifications
