We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood teacher to join our team. Duties
- Implement age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students while ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns related to their child's welfare.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.
- Providing daily care for children including but not limited to meal-time prep, diapering/potty training and assisting with nap time.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings such as a daycare center or a private school is essential.
- Strong understanding of childhood development, behavior management techniques, and education strategies.
- Familiarity with lesson planning and implementing.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery among young learners.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Must have availability between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
