Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBook.
- Perform journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping to record financial transactions accurately.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities by maintaining proper documentation and supporting schedules.
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards coupled with familiarity in governmental or non-profit accounting practices is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis efficiently.
- Experience working with payroll systems like ADP or Paychex along with payroll management responsibilities is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent math proficiency for credit analysis, account analysis, and budgeting tasks.
- Ability to handle data entry tasks accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
