Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DDS / DMD (Doctor of Dental Surgery / Doctor of Dental Medicine) to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws
- Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for accurate documentation of medical records, treatment notes, and billing processes
- Maintain strict infection control protocols utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with OSHA standards
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care instructions in a clear and compassionate manner
- Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, or oral surgery to deliver seamless patient care
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to continually enhance clinical skills and service quality
Skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes
- Experience with four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency during procedures
- Expertise in pediatric dentistry and the ability to handle young patients with patience and care
- Skilled in performing dental fabrication tasks including crowns, bridges, dentures and other prosthetic devices
- Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure safe clinical environments
- Ability to perform complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, and endodontics confidently
- Excellent client communication skills for building trust and providing exceptional patient care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare regulations governing medical documentation and records management
- Capable of working efficiently within a fast-paced dental office environment while maintaining attention to detail
