Job Overview
We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who have excellent communication skills, are detail orientated and are willing to adapt to change. This is a part-time W-2 position, not a contractor role, so you will be part of our team with stable and clear expectations. We are not looking to hire a cleaning company or cleaning services. This position offers an energetic work atmosphere focused on efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction. Hours are approximately 8-15 per week based on demand and availability, with a potential opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of short-term rental properties between guest stays, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces
- Ensure all areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation before new guests check-in
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Restock supplies like toiletries, paper products, and cleaning essentials to maintain fully equipped units
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance issues or damages and report them promptly for resolution
- Maintain detailed records of completed cleanings and any noteworthy observations or issues
- Real Estate and Rental property deep cleans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs effectively
- Prior experience in cleaning is NOT required, however a proven work history is favored (please ensure your profile / resume is complete and accurate)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Must have your own reliable form of transportation to move between properties
- Must be able to pass a background check (absolutely no felonies or violent crimes)
- Must be open to regular feedback
Training
- The training process includes a Standard Operating Procedure, assisted cleans and regular feedback (including feedback from the employee to the owners)
- The role operates under a probationary period to allow for training and SOP modifications.
