As a Unit Manager at Westminster Nursing and Rehab, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. We are part of one of the nation's largest providers of post-acute care, dedicated to Serving with Pride.
About the Role:
As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of caregivers and ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the unit, including:
Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to the unit staff to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care.
Quality Control: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.
Staff Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Responsibilities:
Manage the unit's budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.
Develop and maintain relationships with local medical providers and discharge planners.
Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and education programs.
Ensure that all unit staff are properly trained and certified to perform their duties.
