Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and the ability to work collaboratively on-site. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in the successful completion of projects, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the construction, remodeling, and restoration of residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately.
- Perform various construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, concrete forming, plastering, and roofing.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and stone setting.
- Install cabinets, doors, flooring, tiles, and other fixtures according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and inspection processes is a plus.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction site operations.
- Experience with concrete finishing, hardscape installation, trim carpentry, caulking, stucco application, welding, and fabrication is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and practices is beneficial.
- Must possess physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
