Recovery Nexus is a high-end, clinically grounded recovery program for young adults. We provide a structured, accountable, and compassionate environment that supports long-term recovery through evidence-based practices, experiential programming, and strong human connection.
We are building a professional, mission-driven team and are seeking Behavioral Health Technicians / Recovery Support Staff to serve as frontline staff in our residential program.

Position Overview
Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive recovery environment. This position involves direct resident interaction, safety monitoring, documentation, transportation support, and reinforcing program expectations.
This is not a therapy or counseling role. It is a professional, responsibility-heavy position requiring emotional maturity, reliability, and strong boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support residents in a residential recovery setting
- Maintain safety, structure, and accountability at all times
- Conduct room checks, head counts, and facility walkthroughs
- Transport residents to appointments, groups, and activities (as assigned)
- Document observations, incidents, and shift notes accurately
- De-escalate situations calmly and professionally
- Model healthy communication, boundaries, and behavior
- Collaborate effectively with clinical and leadership team
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy
- Strong communication skills and emotional regulation
- Reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Must be 25+ Years Old
Preferred:
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care
- Relevant education (psychology, social work, human services, or related fields)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Staff approved for client transportation with a clean driving record are eligible for an additional $1/hour differential
Compensation & Benefits
- $22–$24/hour, based on experience and shift
- +$1/hour differential for Graveyard (overnight) shifts
- +$1/hour differential for approved drivers with a clean driving record

- Paid Time Off (PTO): Full-time employees receive one (1) week of paid sick time and one (1) week of paid vacation time annually
