Tax Manager
Location: Southern Maryland
About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established, 50+ person CPA firm based in Southern Maryland with a multi-decade track record of providing tax, accounting, audit, and advisory services to individuals and middle-market businesses. Known for its people-first culture and deep community ties, the firm has built its reputation on trust, technical excellence, and doing right by both clients and colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who wants to grow within a firm that genuinely lives its values rather than just posting them on a wall.
Culture and Values
The firm operates on a clear set of guiding principles that shape how every engagement is handled: acting as a true trusted advisor rather than just a preparer, taking full ownership and accountability for work product and client outcomes, and holding an unwavering commitment to honesty and ethics in every interaction. The team believes diverse perspectives make for better client service, and holds itself to a standard of excellence built through consistent effort on the details, not just the big deliverables. Employees are expected to bring the same level of integrity and professionalism to their internal relationships as they do to client relationships.
