Horticulture Plant Care Technician
$20–22/hour DOE | Full-Time | Four-Day Work Week | No Weekends| Benefits
Do you enjoy working outdoors with plants? We are seeking a dependable, motivated Horticulture Plant Care Technician to help care for ornamental landscapes and container gardens throughout the year.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in gardening, nursery operations, farming, or horticulture maintenance who wants to build a long-term career with an award-winning company. We provide hands-on training and support for individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
What You'll Do
- Care for, plant and maintain ornamental plantings and container gardens
- Monitor plant health and identify common pest, disease, and environmental issues
- Assist with pruning, seasonal color changes, fertilization, and general plant care programs
- Perform routine horticulture maintenance with attention to detail and quality
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in gardening, nursery work, farming, horticulture maintenance, or a related field
- Stable employment history and strong professional references
- Desire to learn and develop horticultural knowledge and skills
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
