General Laborer

Texture Plus in Lincolnton, North Carolina, is seeking a dependable, hard-working, bilingual General Laborer to join our team.
This is an active, hands-on position involving lifting, carrying, moving materials, packaging products, and assisting with general production and warehouse duties throughout the day.
This position requires someone who works well as part of a team. Employees must be willing to communicate clearly, help coworkers, follow instructions, and step in wherever assistance is needed. This is not a position where employees will be sitting or waiting for work. Team members are expected to remain active, productive, and engaged throughout the shift.
Bilingual Requirement

Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Two scheduled breaks each day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon
Applicants must be available to work the full scheduled shift consistently and report to work on time.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members to complete daily production and warehouse tasks
- Lift, carry, move, and organize materials and finished products
- Safely lift and handle items weighing up to 65 pounds
- Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment
- Load, unload, stack, and relocate boxes and materials
- Help coworkers complete shared tasks and meet daily production goals
- Perform general labor duties throughout the production and warehouse areas
- Communicate clearly with English- and Spanish-speaking team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company instructions and established safety procedures
- Remain productive and on task throughout the shift
- Assist other departments as needed
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-focused attitude
Work Environment
- Heated and air-conditioned production and warehouse facility
- Active, hands-on team environment
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
- Some production areas may be loud
- Regular communication and cooperation with coworkers is required
- Employees are expected to stay active and contribute to the team throughout the workday
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Must be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 65 pounds
- Must be comfortable performing physical labor throughout the day
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, carry, and move materials for extended periods
- Must be able to follow instructions in both English and Spanish
- Must communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be willing to help others and assist wherever needed
- Must remain productive and on task without constant supervision
- Must maintain a professional and respectful attitude
- Previous general labor, warehouse, production, packaging, or shipping experience is preferred
Pay
$15.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience.
