We’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable team member to own the web side of the business: websites, SEO, basic IT, and day-to-day digital operations. This is a hands-on role. If you enjoy building and improving sites, making content more useful, and keeping systems organized, this could be a good fit.

What You’ll Do Most Days
- Build and improve our websites so they look clean, sharp, and professional (not generic templates)
- Create and update product pages and landing pages that clearly explain what we sell
- Handle on-page SEO basics — titles, headings, internal links, alt text, and general best practices
- Monitor page performance and suggest practical improvements
- Perform light photo and video work: cropping, simple edits, preparing images, short clips, and product PDFs
- Upload and organize content across our website, YouTube, and marketplaces such as eBay
- Assist with basic IT tasks: domains, hosting, DNS changes, email issues, and similar items
- Provide daily and weekly activity reports, including tasks completed and milestones reached

- At least 3 years of experience with websites, SEO, or digital operations (freelance, agency, or in-house)
- Ability to show 3–5 live sites or projects and clearly explain your contributions
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals without relying on risky or short-term tactics
- Ability to work independently once direction is clear
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to communicate blockers early

- Hourly rate: $33–$40/hour, depending on experience and portfolio
- Hours: approximately 30 hours per week (about 6 hours per day, 5 days per week)
- Meals: $60/week

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with overall marketing goals, focusing on search engine optimization (SEO), technical SEO, and content optimization.
- Manage website platforms, primarily WordPress and other content management systems, ensuring seamless updates, security, and performance improvements.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search rankings across search engines like Google and Bing.
- Utilize SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz to analyze site performance, identify opportunities, and troubleshoot issues.
- Optimize metadata—including titles, descriptions, headers—and improve website architecture for better crawlability and indexing by search engines.
- Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web analytics insights to increase user engagement and lead generation.
- Monitor website analytics through Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other reporting tools to track performance metrics and generate actionable web analytics reports.
- Manage link building campaigns to enhance domain authority while maintaining ethical SEO practices.
- Coordinate with social media teams to integrate social media management strategies that support SEO efforts.
- Oversee technical marketing initiatives such as Google Tag Manager setup, SEO campaigns execution, metadata management for e-commerce sites, and SEM activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on SEO strategy development and implementation.
- Expertise in web analytics platforms including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar content management systems; familiarity with website management best practices.
- Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; ability to troubleshoot website issues independently.
- Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush or Ahrefs for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of conversion optimization techniques including A/B testing and user experience improvements.
- Ability to develop comprehensive keyword research strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Experience managing SEO campaigns across multiple channels including SEM and social media platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into clear insights for continuous improvement.
