Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic and dependable Automotive Damage Repair Specialist to join our collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in auto body repair, mechanical systems, and collision repair techniques will be essential in delivering outstanding results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to excellence in automotive restoration and repair.
Our shop is fully equipped with the latest technology and equipment as well as fully air conditioned. We are direct repair with 10 of the nations largest insurance carriers with 95% of work derived through these companies. Our estimators are well trained, which enables them to write top tier estimates maximizing billable flat rate hours.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including aluminum and metal fabrication, using hand tools and power tools to restore vehicle structures to factory specifications.
- Conduct auto painting using PPG Waterborne paint with precision to achieve a flawless finish.
- Work closly with estimators and notify them of any difficulties or changes to ensure a seamless handoff.
- QC the finished job, then notify the service advisor of jobs completion.
- Attend I-Car training classes to maintain I-CAR GOLD certification. Training paid in full by Colonial Autobody.
- Follow safety regulations diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to shop safety protocols, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience working in collision repair shops or auto body shops a must.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive maintenance, auto painting, and auto restoration projects.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for metal fabrication and auto body refinishing.
- Background in dealing with various vehicle types including heavy-duty vehicles, aluminum panels, and auto glass replacements is highly desirable.
- Must posess excellent communication skills paired with attention to detail.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
