Therapist/Clinician The Wonderment Institute Austin, Texas
About the Wonderment Institute The Wonderment Institute is an intensive psychotherapy program serving adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relational strain, and the destabilizing effects of screen addiction and chronic digital overuse. We help clients restore clarity, rebuild connection, and reclaim sovereignty in their relationship with technology, work, and the people they love. Through high touch psychotherapy, structured immersion, family or partner involvement when appropriate, and real world integration, we guide individuals back to agency, resilience, and purposeful living.
Overview We are seeking a therapist to provide direct clinical care within the Wonderment intensive psychotherapy program. This is a part time contractor role to start, with expansion as program census grows. You will work in person in South Austin and via virtual sessions, contributing to a clinical model built on depth, relational integrity, and whole person transformation.
Responsibilities
Direct care You will provide individual psychotherapy to adults across a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional dysregulation, and technology driven behavioral patterns. You will facilitate or co-facilitate psychotherapy groups focused on emotional regulation, identity development, relational repair, and technology boundaries. You will guide relational sessions with partners or family members when clinically appropriate. You will participate in the immersive retreat component that anchors each client journey.
Clinical collaboration You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Director on case formulation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation. You will participate in regular case consultation, supervision, and team meetings. You will contribute to a grounded, relational team culture where clients experience containment, clarity, and forward momentum.
Documentation and compliance You will maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation in alignment with program standards and Texas behavioral health regulations. You will participate in outcome tracking and contribute observations that inform ongoing program refinement.
Integration and family engagement You will support clients through the integration phase of the program, designed to sustain behavioral and relational change beyond the intensive period. You will provide clear and grounded communication to partners or family members involved in a client's care when appropriate.
