Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing at customer locations. Your expertise will ensure that each installation is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties
- Install a variety of appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ovens, and more, following installation instructions.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration knowledge to identify problems accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely to install and secure appliances in various settings.
- Conduct electrical work such as wiring connections and plumbing tasks related to appliance setup.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to ensure proper installation.
- Test appliances post-installation to verify proper operation and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after setup.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.
- Use company software to thoroughly document jobs
- Work cooperatively in team
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, for various installation tasks.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for precise installations.
- Strong field service skills with a focus on safety protocols when operating company vehicles and handling electrical or mechanical components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles in compliance with safety standards.
