Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our brand new psychiatric hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition. This role is essential in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces and hospital units.
- Carry out janitorial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, buffing, and polishing as needed..
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Respond promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance assistance from staff or management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
