Overview
Looking for a Tow Truck Driver to perform roadside assistance and safe towing, recovering, and transporting vehicles of all types, ensuring prompt and professional service for our customers.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery tow trucks, to transport vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform vehicle recoveries using vehicle mechanics knowledge
- Secure loads protocols to ensure safe transportation
- Conduct basic mechanical repairs and minor mechanical vehicle troubleshooting when needed
- Safely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks using proper vehicle loading techniques
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or vehicle pickup
- Follow all safety procedures related to cargo securement, vehicle loading, and driving regulations for commercial truck driving
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record, including experience with commercial truck driving and flatbed towing
- Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks
- Traffic Incident Management Certificate
- Background Check
- California Tow Truck Association Certificate for light and/or heavy duty towing
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform load & unload tasks, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Pay: $160.00 - $220.00 per day
