Overview
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented and organized Escrow Assistant to join our dynamic team in the escrow services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by assisting escrow officers in managing the escrow process from start to finish. This position requires a strong understanding of various contracts, financial and legal documents, as well as compliance with regulations.
Duties (under the supervision of the branch manager)
- Assist in preparing and reviewing escrow documents, including contracts and CD's and other paperwork.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to ensure all necessary documentation is collected and processed efficiently.
- Prepare escrow instructions, grant deeds, estimates and amendments
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the transaction to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Support the escrow officer in managing timelines and deadlines for closing transactions.
- Process and package loan documents
- Collaborate with team members on front and back office duties such as daily banking, mail runs, supply orders, filing, boxing files for scanning and other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
- Strong knowledge of escrow processes and procedures.
- 2-3 years experience assisting an Escrow Officer required
- Familiar with RBJ Edge or RBJ Evolution a plus
- Proficient understanding of contracts related to real estate transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Knowledge of banking procedures related to escrow accounts is a plus.

Pay: $51,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
