Company: Preferred Life Group
Location: Sanford, FL 32771 (On-Site)
Compensation: $100,000–$400,000 / year (Full-time, 1099, commission + bonuses)
About the Role
Preferred Life Group is a fast-growing life insurance brokerage on a mission to make dependable, affordable coverage easy for families across the country. By comparing 35+ A-rated carriers through a streamlined phone-based platform, our agents act as the trusted advisor—meaning the first conversation is frequently the only one a client needs.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position where producers routinely outperform the national average by 2–3x, minus the typical "grind." A steady stream of inbound leads paired with a consultative, one-call-close approach makes genuine six-figure income realistic (with seven figures attainable over time)—all while protecting your work-life balance.
Why Producers Are Making the Move
Inbound leads, period: 10–15+ qualified calls per day once you're ramped. No prospecting, no door-knocking.
Strong commission structure: typical agents net $9,000–$12,000/month; top earners clear $30,000+/month ($400k+ a year); a realistic first-year range of $100k–$250k+.
Immediate vesting plus residual income beginning in year one (renewals keep paying).
Bonuses for performance and referral rewards.
Built-in raises as you reach milestones, with a clear agency-building track (promotions often happen within 6–12 months).
A Typical Week
Monday–Thursday 9AM–6PM, Friday 9AM–4PM. No weekends, no nights.
Field 12–17+ inbound calls from pre-screened prospects who are already shopping for or in need of coverage.
Follow the consultative framework, walk clients through options across 40+ carriers, and close within a single call.
Who Does Well Here
Experienced closers coming out of high-ticket direct sales—solar, door-to-door, pest control, alarms, auto, timeshare, or retail management—tend to thrive. An active FL 214/215 license is a strong plus, though we sponsor and cover pre-licensing for the right candidate. We're looking for coachable, ambitious people. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) give you a real edge.
What Makes PLG Different
A consultative system sharpened over thousands of calls, hands-on access to leadership every day, and a workplace built around integrity and genuine fun. Add a fast-track leadership path and a true 40-hour week with most holidays off.
