As a Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll be at the forefront of patient care—providing expert medication management, collaborating with physicians, and driving clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care in accordance with evidence-based practices
Monitor drug therapies for safety and effectiveness
Educate patients and healthcare professionals
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification.

Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required.

For Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship roles: ASHP - accredited PGY2 Infectious Disease residency OR minimum of 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.

Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.

Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role, required.

Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
